How Are Vegetables Dehydrated? The Process Explained

Learn how low-temperature dehydration preserves the nutrients, color, and flavor of fresh vegetables.

The Science of Dehydration

Not all dehydration is created equal. Traditional sun-drying can lead to nutrient loss due to UV exposure. At The NutriDry, we use advanced low-temperature dehydration. This involves circulating warm air (usually between 45ยฐC and 55ยฐC) around the produce to slowly draw out moisture without cooking the vegetable.

Why Low Temperature Matters

By keeping the temperature low, we preserve the heat-sensitive vitamins (like Vitamin C) and the natural enzymes. This is why our powders retain such vibrant colors and intense flavors.
